Amazon.ca C’est une bien jolie courtepointe que ce dixième album de Carmen Campagne ! La diva des garderies signe ici un disque aux textures et aux couleurs contrastantes, aux rythmes enveloppants. Dans ce joyeux mélange de folklore, de boogie-woogie, de calypso et de musique cajun se lit la volonté d’ouvrir les enfants à un riche éventail de styles. Des tout-petits aux écoliers, chacun y trouve son compte. Avec le doué Robbi Finkel à la réalisation et aux arrangements (Higelin, les Colocs), Carmen Campagne offre 12 chansons drôles, pimpantes, jamais didactiques. On goûte au passage la contribution du bluesman Bob Walsh, les harmonies du Barbershop Quartet, les vibrants refrains en langue innue chantés par Florent Vollant, la fraîcheur d’un chœur d’enfants et l’énergie d’une chorale gospel (dans "Joy to the World", seule chanson en anglais). Intuitive, la chanteuse a récupéré le fameux "téléfon" de Nino Ferrer, qui donne son titre à l’album : parions que Gaston et son téléfon feront fredonner les parents ! Dans le répertoire folklorique, on retrouve deux belles de jadis : "En filant ma quenouille" et "Les Souliers rouges", chanson à répondre que les petits voudront apprendre par cœur. --Patricia Belzil
