Named for the nightclub that hosts the Bosstones' annual gift to their home crowd, Live finds the frat-boy faves doing exactly what they do best. Frontman Dickie Barrett grunts, bellows, and stomps his way through the walloping, horn-punched skank, his mates swinging merrily along behind him. And if there were ever any doubt, Live makes abundantly clear that Barrett's sure no singer. But the roaring, high-fivin' crowd doesn't seem to mind. After all, you don't go to a Bosstones show expecting to find Pavarotti at the mic. So, as a representative sample of the Mighty live experience, this album is what it is.
