The documentary is a portrait of Louis-Joseph Hébert, a.k.a. Nestor, a Duplessis-era orphan. With undeniable charisma an words full of colourful imagery, Nestor fascinates with his allure of an old, eccentric biker. But above all, his love of life and people and his instinct for survival complete his portrait. Nestor is a fighter, an engaging survivor who fully earns others' respect. Today, he supports his friends from the Huberdeau orphanage in their fight to reclaim their lost dignity. In this David-and-Goliath struggle, tears, laughter and fraternity come together every day. The Duplessis Orphans were the victims of a scheme in which several thousand orphaned children were falsely certified as mentally ill by the government of the province of Quebec, Canada, and confined to psychiatric institutions in the 1940s-'60s.
