Gina is an exotic dancer who is attacked in her motel after a show. Her boyfriend is killed during the attack, but the attacker is interrupted and flees before he can kill Gina as well. The young and enthusiastic Sgt. Burns is determined to catch the killer. His superior, the veteran Lt. Krebs is especially kind to the young woman and offers to drive her to the bus station.
