On se promène donc de 1963 à 1966 sur des orchestrations de Paul Mauriat, accessoirement d'Yvan Jullien ("Plus rien"). Signées avec le parolier Jacques Plante (Line Renaud), mais aussi son beau-frère Georges Garvarentz, l'ami arménien Armand Seggian, le pianiste des années cinquante Jeff Davies (complice d'Eddie Constantine), les chansons sont soit des créations comme "La bohème" (créée par Georges Guétary dans la comédie musicale "Monsieur Carnaval") ou "Paris au mois d'août", soit des reprises de ses propres titres des années cinquante comme "Jezebel" (adapté en français pour Piaf en 1951), "C'est merveilleux l'amour" (cosigné en 1956 avec Gilbert Bécaud), "Ay mourir pour toi" (créé en 1957 et chanté par Dalida)...
