L?histoire de Jeon Woochi débute sous la dynastie Joseon, il y a 500 ans. Manpasikjeok, une pipe sacrée, tombe entre les mains du mal, deux disciples magiciens taoïstes, Cheongwandaesa et Hwadam. Les deux hommes cassent alors l?objet en deux, gardant chacun une partie. Cheongwandaesa, étant immature, transforme alors Jeon Woochi en empereur de Jade Grand, causant ainsi beaucoup d?ennuis. Au même moment, Hwadam tue alors Cheongwandaesa pour mettre la main sur l'autre moitié de la pipe sacrée. L?histoire est ensuite projetée dans la ville moderne de Seoul, où justice doit être rendue sur les mensonges du passé...
